Wow! I can’t believe it has been a few weeks since we hosted a “Pitch to VCs in Zoom”. There are so many incredible updates after the event where participants are now connected and discussing the potential of working together. I would say it was a fantastic experience as it was my first time to host an online event and it turned out great. Although of course, there are many things to improve and I have noted on every feedback. Perhaps in the next event, we will do something different and a more structured but fun event.
I enjoyed co-hosting the event with Mr. Vince Kohli, he is, without doubt, the most experienced and knowledgeable professional and host in a startup I’ve known in the industry. His business understanding combined with his investment expertise makes Mr. Vince undoubtedly the right choice to be a co-host for your start-up event. He gives constructive feedback and valuable inputs to startups. He is also very friendly to work with.
I met him through LinkedIn (like many professionals would connect with people online) and I approached him to participate in the event. After a few chats and calls, we decided that he should be a co-host, I mean come one, with his portfolio and personality he definitely fits the bill. I am grateful that it didn’t take him forever to say YES and immediately offered help. Not many professionals would do what he has done for the event. Others would be a snob or will have whatever reasonable doubts not to help you. But Mr. Vince is different when he sees potential to someone he is helpful, engaging, and he gives his time to everyone. A true definition of a good mentor, leader, and advisor.
I learned so much from him and I take every feedback seriously to improve my work. I look forward to working with him again in the future.
Thanks to all startups , investors, moderator, and co-host for support.
