A few months ago, I was discovered by Mr. Keith Furtado, an investment analyst from Trescon. He approached me if I will be interested to join the World of Blockchain Summit. After reviewing his company profile I immediately said YES! Like come on, the World of Blockchain Summit is South Asiaβs most elite gathering curated investors of 100+ verified investors, 300+ pre-qualified CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Blockchain, Chief Digital Officers, Heads of Innovation, and International Experts amongst others.
The speakers consist of the following;

The exciting part of this event is that I met old friends who are working in VC firms and media. I also met new friends during lunch and afternoon breaks. I had a lunch with Mr. Hock Yun Khoong, partner of Blockchain Fund 1 Tembusu Partners, he is down to earth and easy going professional. I met Kendrick Drijkoningen, founding partner of LuneX Ventures some time ago from another event. I had a few minutes of one on one interview by Mr. Kevin Soltani, founder, and president GIMA Group; California Blockchain Alliance.
The 2-days whole day events are fun!

I attended the early morning conference as I was excited to know about blockchain, cybersecurity, AI and cryptocurrency. It was worth it to wake up early, dressed up at 8 am and reached the Marina Bay Sands at 8.30 am. The information I learned during the conference was refreshing and definitely, I can apply to our tech startup.
Pitch To Get Funded.
The concept of the World of Blockchain Summit is not about competition alone. They created a platform to allow the most innovative and competitive tech startups all over the world to pitch in 4-mins on stage in front of a panel of judges who are verified investors. The most competitive business model will have the chance to get funded by the VCs.
I represented our tech startup during AI show and I was nervous, excited and ready all the same time. The next day, I received a message from Ms. Alphy that she scheduled six investors meetings for me. As a founder, Iβm like an athlete I do what I was told and I do it early in the morning with no alibi. I rushed in the morning to have breakfast and dressed up, and I booked a Grab to Marina Bay Sands. I met the investors as early as 10 in the morning until evening. I met over 15 people. #TheHustleDontStop

As a professional and startup founder, I learned to humble myself that I am not better than anyone. It is important that no matter what I know, who I am and what Iβve accomplished I must innovate and continue to chase the goals for startup. The pitch is never about me, it is about the team and company.
Recently I was coached by Mr. Ethan Donati and Mr. Les Evans, two professional business coaches of CEOs, successful entrepreneurs and celebrities. I learned from them to work outside my comfort zone that not everyone will give me compliments and not everyone will like me, they help me develop my self-confidence and I learned to be held accountable for what really matters. They turned me into another level of person I never thought I can possibly be. I used to be shy, socially awkward (Iβm still am today, lol!), and nerdy inside but with professional coaching, it helps me express myself in public with etiquette. I am no longer embarrassing myself! Haha!
The best part of the event? I hang out with Fleetbase and Kerjaholic founders. I was literally their cheerleader/photographer/older sister during the event. Evan and Ron the co-founders of Fleetbase are professionals, easy-going, humble and chill. We don’t always talk about revenue, traction, and money. We talked about real stuff like their beautiful girlfriend and wife. And when I found out Ron’s girlfriend left Singapore just a few days before the event I was like, “oh man, I missed her visit! We should throw a welcome party for her next time she is back in Singapore.” Josh and Michael, the co-founders of Kerjaholic are two of the professionals I know that are serious players in the tech business. It was fun to be able to hang out with friends during breaks and after the event.Β

I had a fan girl moment meeting VCs and founders who are known in the industry.
Thanks to Ms. Alphy, Mr. Keith, and Mr. Udith for the professional assistance and hard work before and throughout the events.
Please support my friendsβ startup:
