Hello friends, I hope you are well and staying safe. To work from home is indeed both challenging and relaxing, eh? Personally, I’m productive and enjoy working online. It is actually no big difference to work at home and work in a co-working space. Speaking of WFH, I will host an online event called “Pitch to VCs in Zoom” basically I have invited venture capital investors, private equity investors and angel investors friends to participate in the event. They are seriously looking for funding in seed and series A.
Pretty awesome, right?
The mechanics are simple – startup will pitch for 4-mins in Zoom and the panel of judges will ask questions for 3-mins. The most innovative startups will have a chance to be invited for interview by investors and have a chance to get funded.
If you are an aspiring entrepreneur, this event may be what you are looking for! You will understand how startup pitch can raise investment, what questions investors ask for startups and pretty much you will see the startup vibe online.
If you are a startup, this event will add value to your company you will have a chance to meet and connect with serious investors looking for funding. YOU READ IT RIGHT! I have invited investors from Singapore, India, Hanoi, San Francisco, London and Frankfurt. They are looking for startups that have an innovative business model.
If you are an investor, this event is what you need right now to help startups. You will have the opportunity to judge a pitch and decide from there if you would like to move forward to investment.
When will I receive the meeting access in Zoom?
Registered participants will receive an email from my marketing team it includes event agenda, access in Zoom meeting and pitch rules. You will be informed accordingly.
How can I get the contact of investors?
After the event, my marketing team will email all participants the contact list of investors and startups. Feel free to connect and make friends! 😄
How will I know I get selected?
After the event, my marketing team will follow up with investors. We will help you connect so this event is beyond pitch in Zoom.
Is the event free admission?
Technically YES! Basically, the event fee on Eventbrite of $11.46 is for the upgrade meeting room in Zoom. In fact, the fee is less than 10 bucks but to post an event on Eventbrite is not free hence they charge a few bucks.
Personally, I don’t charge people the ridiculous amount of money for pitch events unless you hire my service to represent your company to a family office, then, of course, it is a different story but my fees have always been transparent, straightforward and reasonable. Like many startups, I’ve been to a situation where I have to hustle hard to find investors and seriously I don’t think to pay a ridiculous amount of money just to meet and greet investors are worth it. Because at the end of the day, it is not about networking it is about your presentation, a positive attitude and how you build a relationship with people. 😀
I would like to help my dear startups and investors friends to connect and innovate together because the possibilities are endless. I’m a strong believer in seeing big things happen in a company as many years in my life that I have been rejected and I didn’t get any support from people I expect to stand by me. I learned that sometimes in life it is through a good network that you can kick the door to receive big opportunities. Opportunities won’t come to your co-working office. You literally need to get out of your comfort zone and connect with people! And this is one of your big chances so I hope you won’t miss this opportunity because it is not every year I host an event. Haha!

I apologize that I declined some invitations in Zoom last week as I just recovered from eye check-up. I have limited my use of gadgets. Haha!
