Recently the weather in Singapore was between heat and humidity! – You really want to get out of the house, wear a summer outfit, drink cold piña colada, and have fun. I’m thankful I have a friend that I can always count on. If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you are probably familiar to Antonethe, the beautiful trader/muse/model/ new beshy of mine.
We came from the same hometown and based in Singapore hence we immediately became good buddies because there are many things we have in common. I like that we can talk about what we learned from each move from Manila to Singapore, and how things dramatically changed our lives. We may have different backgrounds but we have common values.
I shared my stories with Antonethe that I studied college in Singapore at a very young age, I didn’t know many people back then, and my first job was at McDonald’s flipping burgers and mopping floors after class in uni. Fast forward, I landed an interview and started working in a law firm and that’s how everything changed.
She asked me what would be my retirement life look like so I answered that if I have enough money, I don’t mind to be a full-time muse a.k.a. blogger lol I would still love to hustle but I will live in a stress-free lifestyle.
STARTING FRESH AFTER LOCKDOWN
I work at home since the beginning of February 2020 and I didn’t expect the lockdown will be extended more than 2 months. I had the options to be bored and be emo, or to create a platform to evolve. I decided to learn how to do trading in #PPE using my background in business and legal. I didn’t know how much I will enjoy doing it and how much I can possibly earn a living. Fortunately, I live in sub-urban and I have a beautiful view from the balcony. It is laid back, I can see the sunshine every morning and overall lifestyle ground and healed me.
As soon as the phase 2 of circuit breaker in Singapore ended, Antonthe and I planned to meet up [with precautions]. So many fun things that happened and I enjoyed our time together. I like that we share about beauty tips, we can be just silly and we can share stories without the fear of being judged. I’ve come to understand what people mean when they say, “life’s about the journey, not the destination.” Because it’s the journey that helps us appreciate the little things in life and introduces us to meet great people that will be our friends forever.
My beshy and I just finished work and we head to our new favourite place (I can’t name it so you won’t follow us there, lol). It was the perfect chic’s night getaway after work where we relaxed and enjoyed the finer things in life. Our new favourite place is probably the best bachelorette hang out destinations on the area and with good reason.
Also, I had been encouraging her to be a blogger soon. Let’s see when she will grant my request.
Anton and I are both hustling in trading in #PPE. We understand the stress, struggle, and long-hours of work in deals. Hence, whenever we have a chance to unwind we get out of the office and meet up for a glass two glasses of wine.
